Our Mission
At Hip Hop, Are You OK?, we're not just starting a conversation, we're driving a movement. We're Not Afraid To Ask The Question, Hip Hop, Are You OK?
Our mission is to bridge the gap between Hip Hop and mental wellness by creating safe spaces for artists, industry professionals, and fans to address mental health challenges openly. Through advocacy, education, and impactful community initiatives, we challenge stigmas, provide resources, and foster healing within the culture.
From panel discussions and digital campaigns to live events and strategic partnerships, we are committed to ensuring that mental health remains a priority in Hip Hop. Because Hip Hop is more than music, it's a way of life, and we're here to make sure it thrives.
Let's ask the question. Let's change the narrative. Hip Hop, Are You OK?

Weekend NY
The five pillars weren't drawn on a whiteboard. They were rehearsed in a room.
Our founder Courtney "Snaps NYC" Nelson was part of building Culture Weekend NY, alongside Rel Carter and Devin L. White, a gathering that brought artists, executives, therapists and organizers from across the country, into the same conversation. Mind. Body. Money. Community. Culture. It worked there first.
This weekend laid the early groundwork for the founding of Hip-Hop, Are You OK? the same blueprint, now a movement.
